Orlando theme parks are one of the greatest places to ring in the New Year. During the day you can enjoy all of the rides, shows and entertainment. Then when night falls enjoy the parks in a whole new way with food, drink, music, dancing and of course fireworks. Here’s how Orlando theme parks are celebrating the start of 2023:
Universal Orlando
December 31 will feel like July 4th at Universal Orlando this year. The Orlando theme park will ring in 2023 with a fireworks show that rivals that of their annual fourth of July with a high energy band, character interactions, and a special countdown and pyrotechnics display at midnight.
This celebration will kick off at 6:15 p.m. and run until 1:00 a.m. in the Music Plaza of Universal Studios Florida.
SeaWorld Orlando
After a thrilling day of shows, animals and rides at SeaWorld Orlando settle in for a fireworks display that is sure to make the start of your New Year an exciting one. The Orlando theme park will be welcoming 2023 with fireworks, entertainment and more.
Not only can you enjoy the final day of SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration, but beginning at 6 p.m., guests can also enjoy a live DJ, dancing, food, beer, wine, cocktails, and champagne.
No matter how young or old those in your group, SeaWorld Orlando is ensuring everybody can enjoy the fireworks, which is why in addition to the countdown at midnight, there will also be three other New Year's Eve Countdown Fireworks displays at 6:30 p.m., 8:00 p.m., and 9:30 p.m.
The midnight fireworks display and countdown can be experienced from anywhere around SeaWorld’s large central lake. There is also a new area behind Bayside Stadium to enjoy.
LEGOLAND Florida
Speaking of celebrating the coming year earlier, LEGOLAND Florida will also be offering an earlier fireworks show during a special New Year’s Eve celebration. Beginning at 10 a.m families can enjoy rides, activities, and much more. Then at 8 p.m. get ready for a dazzling fireworks show welcoming 2023.
In addition to the fireworks, this time of year in the theme park also features holiday elements like a giant LEGO Christmas tree, seasonal shows, holiday characters, special treats, LEGO activities, twinkling lights and more, making New Year’s Eve even more special.
Busch Gardens Tampa
Busch Gardens Tampa is giving 2023 a wondrous welcome with fireworks, entertainment and much more. During the day on December 31, enjoy one final day of Busch Gardens Christmas Town with millions of twinkling lights, holiday shows, specialty dining and thrill rides. Then, kick off the New Year with a special fireworks show set to a fantastic soundtrack.
