Disney Skyliner Soars
Explore the Walt Disney World resort from a new point of view thanks to the Disney Skyliner. This new mode of transportation will conveniently connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four Disney resorts, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and the newest Disney Vacation Club resort Disney’s Riviera Resort! These colorful gondolas will be lining the sky before we know it.

Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon
This fall runDisney is celebrating 10 years of the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend! The delicious weekend will take place from Thursday, October 31 until Sunday, November 3 with Disney magic along every mile. This year’s event will include a 5K, a 10K, a half marathon, and kids’ races, which makes this event fun for everyone! A post-race party will take place on Sunday, November 3, offering after-hours access to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival and select Epcot attractions. Food & Wine Festival
Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival will be longer than ever this year! This fall festival will run from Thursday, August 29 until Saturday, November 23 -- a record-breaking 87 days. With almost 90 days of festival fun to be had, guests can enjoy culinary demonstrations, Eat to the Beat concerts, outdoor kitchens, and specialty merchandise!

Last Chance To See IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth
After almost two decades, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will be coming to an end this fall. The nighttime spectacular’s final night will be Monday, September 30 as the World Showcase lagoon makes way for an all-new spectacular, Epcot Forever. This new show will debut on Tuesday, October 1 and will be a celebration of the park’s past, present, and future!

NBA Experience
Get your head in the game! The long-awaited NBA Experience will have its grand opening on Monday, August 12, 2019 in Disney Springs. Guests will be able to step into a re-creation of a current NBA area, feeling like a basketball pro! The NBA Experience offers 13 different hands-on experiences that bring guests right into the thrills of the WNBA and NBA. Add to this your Disney Springs must-do list if you’re visiting Walt Disney World after its grand opening in August!

New Fireworks Show for Halloween
When you think of fall at Walt Disney World, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party surely comes to mind! This year this spooktacular party will take place on 36 special nights from Friday, August 16 until Friday, November 1. In addition to specialty foods, parades, and other party-exclusives, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will feature a new Halloween-themed nighttime spectacular this year! This new show will feature state-of-the-art projection effects, dazzling fireworks, lasers, and more. All of these effects come together to tell a story of how anything can happen on Halloween!

New Updates to Disney Resort Hotels
There’s always something new to look forward to at Walt Disney World, and this fall it will be at some of the Disney resort hotels. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will be opening its brand-new 15-story Gran Desriveres otino tower this summer, just in time for fall visitors! This new tower will add more than 500 new guestrooms and even a new rooftop restaurant. Over at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, guests can enjoy new waterfront dining and shopping! Winter will bring the opening of the all-new Disney’s Riviera Resort, the 15th Disney Vacation Club property.

Rivers of Light: We Are One
Rivers of Light has been wowing Disney’s Animal Kingdom guests for years, and this fall an all-new version will be debuting on Discovery River. This new show will feature unforgettable moments from Disney animation, animal characters from the Disneynature films, and additional colorful, vibrant new imagery! Keep an eye out for Rivers of Light: We Are One, starting this fall.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
The wait is almost over! Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Thursday, August 29. Live your own Star Wars story within this fully immersive new land! This fall guests can search for rare artifacts at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities or grab a drink of choice at Oga’s Cantina, but the star of the new land will be the groundbreaking Millennium Falcon” Smugglers Run.
