Walt Disney World shared some exciting news last week. The Orlando theme park will be opening the highly anticipated ride, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 5.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will put guests in the middle on a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance. Guests will be recruited to join Rey and General Organa at a secret base. Along the way they will be captured by a First Order Star Destroyer. Thanks to the help of the Resistance, riders break out but must escape the Star Destroyer, protect the secret base, and stay ahead of Kylo Ren.

The ride takes guests on board the Millennium Falcon for a thrilling, interactive smuggling mission. The ride will open when the land does.
