The New Year is here, and it’s officially time for Epcot’s first festival of 2019. Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts will be taking over Walt Disney World’s second park from Jan. 18, 2019 until Feb. 25, 2019, and there will be plenty to see, do and taste while you visit. Have you ever wondered how animators draw your favorite Disney characters? At the Animation Academy, you’ll have the chance to learn firsthand in a drawing class taught by real Disney artists. Guests can become a part of famous works of art around World Showcase and capture every moment with Disney PhotoPass Photographers. Watch a masterpiece come to life right before your eyes through live statues, visual artists and artistic acrobatic shows. Witness your favorite Disney songs performed live by talented Broadway duets. And no day at Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts is complete without taking part in the massive Paint-By-Number mural wall.

With a new festival season comes brand new merchandise to collect. Exploring the festival with your whole family? Keep these kid-friendly activities in mind. Near Test Track, there’s a brand new playground themed to Ralph Breaks the Internet. Families looking to explore World Showcase should pick up a map for Figment’s Brush with the Masters. Follow the scavenger hunt through each pavilion while finding Figment along the way. Watch chalk art creations come to life and create a masterpiece of your own nearby.
