The nightmares may have just ended from last year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, but the Orlando theme park has just announced the dates for the next round of terror.

Now in its 28th year, the nation’s premiere annual Halloween event puts those who dare in the middle of some of the most pulse-pounding moments in horror history. On select nights from September 14 through November 3, guests can expect to encounter iconic horror films, cult classics, terrifying hit TV shows and original stories throughout the creepy celebration.

The scares will continue in the streets with nightmarish creatures in five sinister scare zones. And of course if you need a break from all of the horror you can take a ride on some of Universal’s most popular rides.

No other information has been released, but this will be the first time in 26 years the scarefest will not include Bill & Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure as part of the line-up.

Halloween Horror Night is a nine-time winner of Amusement Today’s “Best Halloween Event” Golden Ticket award. Tony Timpone, editor of Fangoria magazine, said in a statement, “After visiting scream parks all across the US for the last 20 years, I can easily say that Universal’s is the best in the business… Halloween Horror Nights is the ultimate Halloween experience.” The 28th edition of this must-see event promises to bring to life the ultimate in scares past, present, and future.

In addition to Halloween Horror Nights dates, Universal has started to release dates for its Christmas celebration. The celebration will begin November 17 and run through January 6th with 44 days of Yuletide cheer including Mannheim Steamroller concerts, the Grinch, a holiday parade and more.

The New Orleans celebration offers nightly parades, authentic Cajun cuisine, bands from the Big Easy and so much more. The party ends April 7.
