August is an exciting time to be in Orlando. Orlando theme parks continue to offer summertime fun with nighttime events, concerts and water park splashes while also gearing up for fall with beer festivals, Halloween events and more. Here’s what’s new in Orlando this August:

Walt Disney World
Disney H20 Glow Nights - On select nights, now through August 24, guests to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon can enjoy a glow-filled water party led by Rex from Toy Story. The party runs from 8p.m. to 11 p.m. and includes a DJ-hosted dance party, Toy-Story-themed experiences including Character Greetings with Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie, and limited-time food and drink offerings. August dates are 8, 10 15, 17, 22 & 24.

Disney Villains After Hours - If you like Disney After Hours, you’ll really like Disney Villains After Hours. This Villains-themed late-night party at Magic Kingdom includes a new stage show featuring Hades and Meg from Hercules, enhancements to Pirates of the Caribbean, and more.

Mickey’s Not-So-mickey’s not so Scary Halloween Party - Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party begins spooking this August 16! The popular event at Magic Kingdom takes place after hours and includes lots of Halloween fun like Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Halloween based rides including a completely black Space Mountain and trick-or-treating throughout the park.

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival - Get a taste of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival beginning August 29. The annual foodie fare includes more than 25 international marketplaces and kiosks, which offer tapas-sized portions of regional specialties. There are also seminars, special dining experiences with celebrity chefs and the popular Eat to the Beat concerts.

SeaWorld Orlando
Electric Ocean - On select electrifying nights through August join SeaWorld Orlando’s summer nighttime event, Electric Ocean. From now through September 1 enjoy exotic worlds of light and music filled with glowing sea creatures, DJs and a spectacular fireworks display.

Summer Concert Series - Enjoy live entertainment from some of your favorite country, alternative rock and classic rock artists during SeaWorld’s Live Concerts every weekend through August 11. This August hear the music of Blood, Sweat & Tears August 10 - 11.

Thrill Fest Ride Night - On Friday, August 16, experience all of the thrills SeaWorld has to offer late in the evening at the first ever Thrill Fest Ride Night. Enjoy the shows and attractions during the day then stick around until 11 p.m. for world class coasters with extended hours of access to Mako, Manta, Infinity Falls, Kraken and Journey to Atlantis. Happy Hour will be extended for this special night.

Busch Gardens Tampa
Busch Gardens Summer Nights – The nighttime experiences continue in August at Busch Gardens Tampa during Summer Nights. Now through August 11 enjoy the parks many thrill rides, like the all-new Tigris in the dark. The event also includes a dance party, a special summer selection of food and drinks and a thrilling fireworks show on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Conservation Connections - On August 17, learn about the work Dr. Mike Burton, one of Busch Gardens’ Senior Veterinarians, and the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund have done with The Wilderness Foundation.

Bier Fest - On weekends from August 17 - September 8, sip on craft beers from around the world at Busch Gardens’ Bier Fest. The festival includes over 40 new brews, live entertainment and contemporary fare that pays homage to a traditional Oktoberfest.

LEGOLAND Florida
Fire Safety Weekend - Learn about fire safety at LEGOLAND Florida during Fire Safety Weekend August 10-11. Presented by the National Fire Protection Association, the event teaches fire safety through fun activities in the park, including information from NFPA’s annual Fire Prevention Week theme.
