As we head into December, Orlando theme parks really kick the holiday cheer into high gear. This month, celebrate the season with Christmas parties, Candlelight Processionals, The Grinch and wild animals! Here’s what to do in Orlando this December.

Walt Disney World
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party – Disney’s Magic Kingdom brings in the jolly with its annual Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this December. The Disney park transforms into a festive party full of enchanting holiday entertainment like Mickey’s Merriest Celebration, A Frozen Holiday Wish, Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Holiday Wishes fireworks show, and more; holiday treats; Mickey characters dressed in festive gear and so much more. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs on select nights now through December 21,

Flurry of Fun - There is a flurry of fun happening this December at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. From now through January 6, 2019, guests to the park can enjoy a holly, jolly celebration with magical merriment as Sunset Boulevard turns into a winter wonderland with festive shows, enchanting “snow,” holiday decor, and much more. It all starts with the Hollywood Tower Hotel that is transformed with laser effects and projections depicting holiday stories of Disney characters. Flurry of Fun also includes the snow-stopping spectacular Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Enjoy holiday touches at the new Toy Story Land and meet Santa!

2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays - Enjoy an international yuletide extravaganza at Epcot during the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. You’ll learn about the joyous holiday traditions of Epcot’s 11 World Showcase nations. The celebration also includes JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season where you can experience the joy of Christmas and Kwanzaa in the Gospel, R&B and holiday songs of the ‘Joyful!’ vocal ensemble. The Candlelight Processional will invite celebrity narrators to read the Christmas story. December’s narrators include:

SeaWorld Orlando
Guy Harvey - Meet world-renowned marine artist and conservationist Guy Harvey at SeaWorld Orlando this December. The artist will offer meet-and-greets, autographs, and photos with fans Dec. 8 and 9.

SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration - It’s Christmas eery day at SeaWorld Orlando during the park’s Christmas Celebration. Now through Dec. 31, enjoy a sea of festivities including carolers, a sea of trees, ice skaters, live shows, and flavors of the season.

Busch Gardens Tampa
Guy Harvey Weekend - Prior to his appearance at SeaWorld Orlando, Guy Harvey will be at Busch Gardens Tampa. Guests will learn more about his dedication to conservation and his passion for marine wildlife in this unique meet-and-greet session.

Christmas Town – Every night now through the season, Busch Gardens Tampa invites families to celebrate the holidays with Santa, Rudolph and more during Christmas Town. Each night the park will light up with millions of Christmas lights, beloved characters from “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” yuletide shows, holiday treats and more. 

Universal Orlando
Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort - Experience mischief and mayhem at Universal Orlando’s annual Holidays event. Now through January 6, the entire resort will celebrate the season with dazzling lights, music and The Grinch himself. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley and Hosgmeade will be transformed into an enchanted area you don’t want to miss and include a holiday projection show on the Hogwarts Castle. Universal Studios will also bring the Minions and Santa Claus together in Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s  and Mannheim Steamroller will perform their holiday hits. Meanwhile at Islands of Adventure, don’t miss The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular at Seuss Landing with the residents of Who-ville and The Grinch.

Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park
Christmas in the Wild – Zoo Tampa turns into a world of holiday cheer for Christmas during Christmas in the Wild. On select nights now through December, enjoy the Zoo’s stunning holiday lights, seasonal treats, and the wonder of wildlife at night.  You’ll also get to marvel at a 50-foot Christmas tree, meet Santa and mingle with animals.
