Things are kicking into high gear in Orlando this February. From food and art festivals to Sesame Street friends and NASCAR races there is something for everyone. Here are the top things to do in Orlando this month:
Walt Disney World
Epcot International Festival of the Arts - The Epcot International Festival of the Arts continues into February with visual, culinary and performing arts you don’t want to miss. Guests can enjoy gallery exhibits, living statues, artist appearances and the popular Disney on Broadway Concert Series inside the America Gardens Theatre. The Epcot International Festival of the Arts runs now through February 25.
Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend - Inspired by Disney Princesses, the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend includes the Disney Royal Family 5K, Disney Enchanted 10K, Disney’s Fit for a Princess Expo and the Disney’s Princess Half Marathon. The half marathon runs through Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Sesame Street Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekends - Kick off February with your Sesame Street pals during Busch Gardens Tampa’s Sesame Street Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekends. Weekends from February 2 - 10, join Elmo and friends for pirate celebration. Each weekend will feature pirate character dance parties, themed story times, a treasure scavenger hunt, photo opportunities and more.
Elmo’s Birthday Weekend - Over at SeaWorld Orlando the Sesame Street fun continues with Elmo’s Birthday Weekend. This Saturday, Feb. 2 and Sunday, Feb 3 enjoy a dance party, crafts, and a scavenger hunt for Elmo. The event runs 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Seven Seas Food Festival - Sip and sample your way around the world with the return of the Seven Seas Food Festival. Beginning February 9 through May 5, enjoy a world of flavors and local craft beers, plus live entertainment. Pair your meal with The Fray, Sugar Ray, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, Little River Band, Flo Rida and 98 Degrees this February.
Florida’s biggest party returns to Universal Orlando February 9. Universal’s Mardi Gras brings nightly parades, countless beads, cajun cuisine, authentic New Orleans bands and some of music’s biggest acts live in concert.
February kicks off NASCAR season at the Daytona International Speedway. NASCAR fans can speed into the month with the Can-Am Duel February 14, followed by the Nextera Energy 250 at Daytona on February 15. On February 16 watch up-and-coming drivers take on veteran drivers in the series opener PowerShares QQQ 300. Round out the month with “The Great American Race” the Daytona 500 on February 17.
