The temps continue to heat up and so does Orlando’s entertainment. This July, the city will celebrate Independence Day with explosive fireworks and patriotic events as well as summer with nighttime celebrations and more. Here’s what’s new in July in Orlando:

Walt Disney World
Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky
- Kick off your Fourth of July festivities with a patriotic firework show at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. The Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky fireworks show set to patriotic melodies performs on July 3 and 4 at 9:15 p.m. The night also includes DJs in Frontierland and a Galactic Gathering in Tomorrowland.

Muppets Reenactment - The fuzzy cast of the Muppets will reenact famous moments in American history during The Muppets Present…Great Moments in History at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. The live show is performed several times daily near the Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square.

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth - There are only a few months left to enjoy the Epcot fireworks show IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth and this Fourth of July see it with a patriotic twist. The shows ending, The Heartbeat of Freedom fireworks extravaganza will begin right after the 9 p.m. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth display.

Voices of Liberty - The a cappella vocal group Voices of Liberty will perform great American songs during a Fourth of July concert on the American Gardens Theatre stage at Epcot at 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m. on July 4. The group will also perform inside The American Adventure pavilion at 2 and 3 p.m.

Universal Orlando
Fourth of July Celebration
- Universal Orlando is celebrating Fourth of July with your favorite Universal characters. July 4-6 beginning at 5 p.m. dance along to DJ M-Squared spinning tunes and live music from Radiyo. Characters and stilt walkers will join the party and it will all end with an explosive pyrotechnic display over the Music Plaza Stage at 9 p.m.         

LEGOLAND Florida
Red, White & Boom – Celebrate America’s independence with LEGOLAND Florida’s annual Red, White & Boom. The special event includes patriotic activities such as a LEGO flag build, a salute to our troops during the battle of Brickbeard’s Bounty ski show, and the popular Brick & Boom Fireworks Celebration where you can wear special viewing glasses while watching a gazillion bricks explode in the sky.

THE LEGO MOVIE DAYS - The brand new event - THE LEGO MOVIE DAYS brings Emmet, Wyldstyle, MetalBeard, Unikitty and Benny together for a totally awesome summer time event. Guests can enjoy THE LEGO MOVIE Mystery Mosaic, character meet and greets and THE LEGO MOVIE Scavenger Hunt. THE LEGO MOVIE DAYS runs July 13-14, 20-21, 27-28 and August 3-4. 

SeaWorld Orlando
Electric Ocean - Charge up your summer nights with Electric Ocean at SeaWorld Orlando. The nighttime event continues all July long with glowing sea creatures, DJs, worlds of light, shows and a spectacular fireworks display.

4th of July - Celebrate Independence Day with a gorgeous firework display as part of Electric Ocean’s fireworks and laser show, Ignite. The night sky will light up with fireworks, pyrotechnics.

Guy Harvey - Meet world-renowned marine artist and conservationist Guy Harvey on July 12. Join him for meet-and-greets, autographs and photo opportunities from 2 - 5 p.m.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Summer Nights – Enjoy Busch Gardens Tampa’s many thrills and attractions in the dark during Summer Nights. From now through August 11, guests can take a ride on some of the park’s most scream-worthy rides in the dark including the all-new Tigris. The nighttime event also includes DJs in Stanleyville and Cheetah Hunt Plaza and a special summer selection of food and drinks. End your night with an explosive firework show Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at 9:30 p.m.

Independence Day Fireworks - On Wednesday, July 4th combine Busch Gardens’ Summer Nights with an epic July 4th extended firework show with a patriotic medley.
