June is typically the start of summer break. Orlando theme parks are geared up for the long summer months with special events, new experiences and the usual fun. If you’re heading to an Orlando theme park this June, here’s some fun that awaits:
Walt Disney World
Disney After Hours - On select nights throughout the summer, Disney guests can stay after park closing with the separately-ticketed event to experience Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom or Disney’s Hollywood Studios at night. Admission begins at 7 p.m. Ice cream, popcorn and select beverages are included with admission.
Disney Villains After Hours - From June 6 - August 8, Disney Villains will take over the After-Hours experience at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. A brand-new stage show, Villains Unite the Night, will premiere in front of Cinderella Castle, and Maleficent the Dragon will make special appearances.
H20 Glow Nights - Enjoy the summer beach party, H20 Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon this June. The 3-hour evening event includes Toy Story Pals in celebration of Toy Story 4 as well as Typhoon Lagoon’s usual splashes.
Electric Ocean - This June be electrified with SeaWorld Orlando’s nighttime celebration, Electric Ocean. When the sun goes down the park comes to life with lights, music, glowing sea creatures, DJs and fireworks. Electric Ocean lights up the night now through September 1.
Busch Gardens Tampa
Father’s Day Weekend - Celebrate dad with a trip to Busch Gardens Tampa. Start your day with a Father’s Day buffet at Serengeti Overlook Restaurant. Then, enjoy photos with dad throughout the park for only $5.
Conservation Connections - Busch Gardens Conservation Connections for June include Melissa Gramling and Amber Wisler, two Ambassadors from the Busch Gardens’ Zoo team to discuss the Wildlife Alliance Organization and Painted Dog Conservation, two partners through the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund.
