The immense popularity of the trio of the All-Star Resorts led the company to add a fourth Value Resort to its lineup – Disney’s Pop Century Resort. This whimsical hotel took everything that was so popular about the All-Star Resorts and made it bigger and better than ever, which is the reason why this resort has 1.5 times the room capacity of the other Value accommodations.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort may be larger in size with nearly 2,880 rooms, but its themes are just as large and over-the-top as the rest! This hotel celebrates pop culture through the years, with ten different four-story buildings that celebrate individual decades (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s), and large icons with letters and objects from the decades they represent. The accompanying rooms also reflect the styles from each era and feature mostly two double beds, a table and two chairs, a bathroom with a separate vanity and sink area, an in-room safe and high-speed Internet access. This hotel will also be expanding over the coming years, with an addition of buildings that will celebrate the “Legendary Years” (1900-1940s).
Disney’s Pop Century Resort has an award-winning location! This hotel is only three miles from Epcot ® and Disney’s Hollywood Studios ™, four miles from Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon ® Water Park and the Downtown Disney ® area, five miles from Disney’s Animal Kingdom ® Theme Park, and seven miles from the Magic Kingdom ® Park, meaning it is only a short bus ride on the complimentary bus transportation system no matter where you are headed within the Walt Disney World ® Resort area.
Many families staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort might have a hard time getting their kids to leave the hotel, however, and with so much to do here, it is easy to see why!
