Ahoy and welcome aboard Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! Modeled after the New England beach homes along Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket of the late 1800’s, the beautifully designed Disney’s Yacht Club Resort captures the essence of the New England seashore. Enclosed in a gorgeous steel gray and white clapboard building, the 630 guest room and suite hotel is docked against the 25-acre Crescent Lake.
With flawlessly perfected architecture, by famous east coast beach house architect Robert A.M. Stern, the Yacht Club welcomes you to “set sail” on your Orlando vacation. As you enter the dark hardwood floored lobby, you will feel as if you are stepping aboard a turn-of-the-century authentic yacht. Cast members dressed in their ship crew regalia will welcome you as you enter the wood beamed room. Nautically designed furniture, comfortable leather couches, globes, and small ship displays decorate the classic lobby space.
The rooms and suites at Disney’s Yacht Club reflect the nautical theme that is carried out throughout the entire resort. Nautical wallpaper, yacht-covered bedding, ship steering wheel headboards, and seafaring artwork decorate each bedroom. Plush king or queen size beds anchor the entire space, along with rich wood and wicker furnishings. Each room has a private bathroom with beautifully marbled flooring and vanities, adorned with porthole designed mirrors. Rooms offer top-of-the-line amenities with in-room coffeemakers, minibars, refrigerators, microwaves, and internet access. Most rooms on property also offer furnished balconies and patios, with surrounding views of the scenic property.
There is no shortage of recreational activities aboard the Yacht Club. Guests can play in the Florida sunshine along the three-acre water playground of Stormalong Bay. Featuring water slides, sand bottom pools, a lazy river, and more, you can have fun in the sun! If water sports are what you are after, the Yacht Club provides watercraft rentals, private cruises, and fishing adventures along their personal Bayside Marina. Guests can also stay active with the on-site volleyball and tennis areas, as well as the Ship Shape Health Club and Spa. As a guest to the Yacht Club Resort, vacationers may take advantage of the recreational facilities available at the nearby sister hotel, Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
If you have worked up a hearty appetite after a day of activities, dining options at Disney’s Yacht Club will satisfy even the pickiest of appetites. Dining at Yachtsman Steakhouse will give you a chic dining experience in a nautically themed setting. As one of the signature dining options at the Walt Disney World ® Resort, it is a definite must-see. And, the Captain’s Grille gives guests a casual dining experience, serving up every day classics. There are also two lounges on property where you can kick back and relax, even late into the night.

Complimentary transportation is available for guests to all the Walt Disney World ® Theme Parks and attractions and the Orlando International Airport.
