One great thing about the Walt Disney World resort is that it’s always evolving. Through changes big and small, guests who visit the Most Magical Place on Earth have a different experience every time! One of the latest changes coming to property is taking place at Disney’s shopping and dining district.

Disney Springs is known for some of the best dining options around Walt Disney World resort, and their latest addition will be no exception! Beatrix is owned by a Chicago-based restaurant group, Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises. The restaurant group will be opening their first restaurant in Florida at Disney Springs West Side!

This will be your neighborhood coffeehouse, grab-and-go market, and restaurant featuring healthy food options including gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian. Beatrix will also offer fresh-squeezed juice cocktails, a bakery, and a full-service bar with an all-American selection of beers and wines.

Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs says “Beatrix represents the way people are eating today -- it’s that mix of health and comfort. Whether grabbing a cup of coffee and your favorite pastry, or having a cocktail, lunch, or dinner with friends, it’s your neighborhood meeting place.”

Beatrix will be taking the place of Bongo’s Cuban Cafe in Disney Springs West Side near Splitsville Luxury Lanes, Jaleo, and House of Blues Orlando. Bongo’s closed on August 18, 2019, with no official announcement of when Beatrix will open. Although an opening date hasn’t been announced, we’re sure it will be revealed soon so be sure to keep an eye out for that!
