Each new month at the Disney Parks brings exciting news, and right now we’re talking all about food! There are several new offerings around the Walt Disney World resort, and we want to make sure you don’t miss a thing.

Epcot
Both World Showcase and Future World are serving up exciting new eats in Epcot! From the all-new Table-Service restaurant in the Japan Pavilion to new seas-themed menu items at Coral Reef Restaurant, there’s a lot of new delicious food to try.

Takumi-Tei
On August 6, 2019 dignitaries gathered to celebrate the official grand opening of the Japan pavilion’s newest restaurant, Takumi-Tei! This restaurant is also the newest signature table-service restaurant in Epcot, offering an upscale, immersive, Japanese dining experience for guests. 

The premium multi course menu features a traditional tea service, wagyu beef, an a la carte menu, and more! Takumi-Tei’s tranquil interior features five different dining rooms that are each inspired by one of the five natural elements: Earth, Stone, Washi Paper, Water, and Wood. Don’t forget to grab a reservation for this exciting new restaurant on your next trip to Disney!

Coral Reef Restaurant
If you’re more into seafood, Coral Reef Restaurant has got you covered! Located inside of the Seas Pavilion, Coral Reef Restaurant provides guests will breathtaking aquarium views, amazing service, and delicious dishes of all sorts. They have recently added a few new items to their menu that are worth pointing out! 

On their appetizer list, guests will find their all-new Seared Sea Scallops served with saffron butter broth, tomato bruschetta, and crostini. As for new entrees, you can dive into the new Lobster Seafood Boil which features a lobster, shrimp, mussels, Jonah Crab claw, corn, potatoes, ouzo-garlic butter, andouille sausage, and spiced cioppino broth. Their second new entree is the Grilled Swordfish which is served with warm white beans, arugula, lemon-herb vinaigrette, and roasted Cipollini onions. 

There’s a new enhancement option featuring one pound of steamed Maryland-style Snow Crab legs served with butter and lemon for crab leg lovers! Last but certainly not least, guests can indulge in a new dessert. This seasonal cheesecake is made with a shortbread cookie and a delicious fruit compote.

Disney Springs
When it comes to all things shopping and dining at Walt Disney World, there’s no better place to go than Disney Springs! With new offerings both savory and sweet, it’s an exciting time to explore Disney’s shopping and dining district. Here are all the best bites coming to Disney Springs this month!

Ample Hills Creamery
One of the best ice cream spots on property, Ample Hills Creamery, will be opening a second Disney location at Disney Springs West Side. Currently available on the boardwalk at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, this scoop shop is known for their handcrafted ice cream flavors and specialty mix-ins. More information on this brand-new ice cream spot in Disney Springs will be released soon so stay tuned!

Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet
Disney Springs offers dining experiences of all sorts, including food trucks. Their latest addition to the food truck lineup will be called “Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet” and feature everyone’s favorite treat -- cookie dough! Here are a few tasty treats you can look forward to on the menu:

Celebration Parfait – Enjoy Celebration Cookie Dough with Celebration Mickey cake, vanilla custard, strawberries, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Cookie Dough Cup or Cone – Cookie Dough Flavors include Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Fluff, Celebration, Cookies and Cream, Candy Monster, and Cold Brew served in a cup or cone!

Minnie Mouse Taco – Indulge in scoops of Peanut Butter Fluff Cookie Dough, caramel sauce, whipped cream, a cherry, and a chocolate Minnie bow served in a delicious waffle taco.

Mickey or Minnie Funnel Cake – This fun take on funnel cake is topped with powdered sugar and Mickey or Minnie-shaped cookie dough.

Springs Candy Taco – This taco is seriously fun! Enjoy Candy Monster Cookie Dough, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry served in a waffle taco.

This all-new food truck is set to open later this month in Disney Springs on the West Side near Candy Cauldron.

D-Luxe Burger
D-Luxe Burger loves to take the art of a hamburger to a whole new level, and their latest burger is for the pizza lovers. The all-new Pepperoni Pizza Burger features fried mozzarella, Pomodoro sauce, artisan pepperoni, and a bun topped with a sundried tomato. Stop into D-Luxe burger to grab this savory limited-time treat!

Earl of Sandwich
In the mood for a great sandwich? There’s no better place to grab one than Earl of Sandwich! They’re currently offering new cheesesteak sandwiches that you’re going to want to try. Guests can choose between the Chicken Cheesesteak Sandwich with grilled chicken or the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with tender chopped beef steak. Both options are served on fresh, artisan bread and topped with sautéed green peppers, provolone cheese, mushrooms, and onions. For those out there looking for a veggie option, there’s also the Veggie Cheesesteak Sandwich which is made with provolone, sautéed green peppers, HP sauce, mushrooms, and onions.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
Have you heard of the “Temple of Bacon” dish that’s currently being offered at Jock Lindsey’s? This dish features thick cut Applewood smoked bacon pieces dipped in milk and chipotle chocolate ganache that comes straight from The Ganachery! If you haven’t had a chance to try it, make sure you make your way to Disney Springs on your next Disney trip.

Sunshine Churros
A guest favorite from the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim, California is finally making its way to Disney Springs later this month! Sunshine Churro carts will be stationed in the Marketplace area and the West Side of Disney’s shopping and dining district. Serving up classic and gourmet churros, the Sunshine Churro cart will offer flavors like fruity cereal, watermelon, salted caramel, cookies and cream, and strawberry cheesecake! Get adventurous and dip your churros in milk chocolate or a chocolate-hazelnut spread.

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
The Intermission Food Court is a great place to find delicious snacks of all sorts. For a unique, plant-based treat try the Sweet Thai Coconut Mickey Onigiri. Made with coconut sticky rice, poppy seeds, mandarins, apples, carrots, and roasted mangos, this treated is wrapped in nori and served with a sweet and sour fruit dipping sauce.

If cupcakes are more your thing, try the all-new Hades Cupcake that will be offered all month long! This chocolate cupcake is topped with a blue sour candy buttercream and a fun, chocolate Hades piece on top.
