Aside from the new Fantasyland expansion opening Dec. 6 at Magic Kingdom ® Walt Disney World ® is also adding a nighttime show to their list of magical experiences guests can encounter this fall. Beginning in November, Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom ® will once again be the backdrop for a lively and vibrant show you won’t want to miss.

‘Celebrate the Magic,’ which replaces the “The Magic, The Memories, and You! nighttime show will incorporate many of the same elements from the previous show but will be adding all-new music, storytelling and special effects. Disappearing from the show will be the Photopass photos of guests in the park during the day. The new nighttime show is expected to bring to life some of Disney’s ® favorite characters in a way we’ve never experienced before.

“‘Celebrate the Magic’ takes us on a journey to the heart of the most beloved Disney stories and characters,” said Show Director Katy Harris. “This amazing show will magically transform Cinderella Castle with spectacular projection effects, choreographed to a new music soundtrack. The show will be full of emotion and storytelling, proving that, with imagination and magic in our hearts, anything is possible.”

No word yet on which characters will be a part of the new show but with popular characters and scenes from “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Little Mermaid” and “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” popping up all over the new Fantasyland expansion, we can’t help but wonder if they will also be incorporated into ‘Celebrate the Magic.’

‘Celebrate the Magic’ rolls into the park just as Walt Disney World ® begins their annual holiday celebration Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Guests to the festive event will not only be able to take in the new nighttime show but also experience a magical fireworks display – Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season; Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade; live entertainment featuring Disney ® characters; meet –and-greet opportunities with Disney ® characters; the Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle; snow falling on Main Street U.S.A. and much more holiday cheer! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs from 7:00 p.m. to 12 midnight on select nights.

Stay tuned for more details on ‘Celebrate the Magic.’ In the meantime you can find discounted Very Merry Christmas Party tickets right here on Best of Orlando (Keep in mind: November* historically has lower crowds, so it’s a great time to enjoy the parks.)
