This year's Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will see the introduction of an entirely new scavenger hunt. Spike's Pollen Nation Exploration will be joining the popular Egg-stravaganza during the event for 2018. This new hunt will get everyone "buzzing" around town.
Spike is Disney's favorite little honey bee and this year you'll be able to find him pollinating Epcot's gardens during the festival. Any time from February 28 through May 28, you can pick up a scavenger hunt map and sticker set for just $5.99 each. Then you'll be all set and ready get "bzzzz-y" exploring. Your map will show you all of the gardens around World Showcase where Spike will be hiding.
In each garden you'll have to find the plant that the little honey bee is pollinating. Once you find him, place the corresponding sticker with the plant Spike is pollinating on the map for that location. After your journey is complete and you've found him in all 12 gardens you can redeem your completed map for a special springtime prize. This is a fun new adventure for everyone in your family, and if you complete multiple maps you can each select different prizes.
The Egg-stravaganza scavenger hunt will also be returning this year, but only for a limited two-week run. It will begin March 16 and run until Easter Sunday on April 1. Egg-stravaganza will have you looking high and low throughout World Showcase for colorful Easter Eggs decorated with your favorite Disney characters. Map and sticker sets for this game are also $5.99 each, and once you've found them all you can redeem your map for a collectible character egg of your choice.
Spike's Pollen Nation Exploration and Egg-stravaganza both start with a visit to Port of Entry, Disney Traders, Pin Central or World Traveler to purchase your map and sticker set. After completing a scavenger hunt, redeem your finished map to either Port of Entry or Disney Traders at World Showcase Plaza. If you're stumped and cannot locate an egg or one of Spike's garden locations, ask a nearby Cast Member for help.
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is running February 28 through May 28, 2018. The event brings together the best of spring with flowering gardens, topiary displays, incredible food and drinks, hands-on seminars and more.
