
December will certainly be a month to remember in Central Florida as Orlando theme parks bring their jolliest shows, attractions and events to the parks for a holiday you won’t forget. Get ready for more dazzling lights, displays, sensational fireworks, fun-filled parades than ever before this December.
Walt Disney World – Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at all four Walt Disney World parks as they bring you special parades, enchanting fireworks, glowing lights displays and more this December. The new “A Frozen Holiday Wish” projection show is sure to be a hit this season as it transforms Cinderella Castle into a gleaming display full of “Frozen” fun. Other Disney holiday highlights include Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom where you can meet Skeleton Jack in a Santa outfit; Epcot’s Candlelight Processional with celebrity narrators, “Frozen” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where you can visit Wandering Oaken’s Frozen Snowground and enjoy For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration; the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Hollywood Studios; Jingle Cruise at Animal Kingdom and many more.
Universal Orlando – After a busy Halloween season, Universal Orlando brings holiday cheer to both parks this December 6 – January 3. At Universal Studios, guests can relive the excitement of the Macy’s Day Parade as the Orlando theme park recreates the famous processional with balloons and floats, marching bands, Santas, sing-a-longs and more. And speaking of music, the best-selling holiday artist of all time, Mannheim Steamroller will steam into Universal Studios Dec. 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 & 21. Kids will love singing along with Barney in A Barney Holiday and families will be able to rock out with Jake and Elwoood as they perform their festive songs like “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” in The Blues Brothers Holiday Show.
At Islands of Adventure, guests can enjoy a retelling of Dr. Seuss’ holiday classic “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” in Grinchmas. Seuss Landing at Islands of Adventure will be transformed into the whimsical world of Grinchmas with characters, music by Mannheim Steamroller, and little touches Seuss fans will love. In addition, guests will be able to meet The Grinch himself in a special holiday meet-and-greet.
LEGOLAND Florida – You can enjoy Christmas brick by brick this December as LEGOLAND Florida brings back its annual Christmas Bricktacular event. Every weekend in December, families will enjoy all of the usual excitement of LEGOLAND but with a special holiday twist! Get ready for larger-than-life displays, thousands of lights and all of the LEGOs you can handle!
SeaWorld Orlando –Let the holiday spirit wash over you at SeaWorld Orlando during their annual Christmas Celebration now through December 31. This wintry wonderland will offer waves of holiday spirit with lots of special shows and attractions including the popular Sea of Trees where you can walk through a glistening forest with over 100 trees sparkling to music; as well as holiday shows like Elmo’s Christmas Wish, Shamu’s Christmas Miracles, and more. Guests will also enjoy the greatest story never told during O Wondrous Night.
Busch Gardens Tampa –Wintry surprises will transform Busch Gardens Tampa Nov. 28 through Dec. 31 at their annual Christmas Town holiday event. This year the festive fun is included in regular theme park admission, making your holiday even jollier. Christmas Town will also offer special entertainment, live music, treats, holiday shopping and thousands of twinkling lights throughout the park including two new displays – Three Kings Oasis and Celestial Crossing.
Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo – Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo will go wild this December as the zoo transforms into a whimsical world of holiday magic for 16 nights. Beginning December 6 and continuing December 12 -14, 18, 23 & 26-30 guests are invited to meet Santa and his animals including real reindeer! There will also be millions of dazzling lights, animated displays, Florida “flurries,” free zoo rides and more.
