Listening to Alice Cooper’s “Welcome to My Nightmare” album will take your mind on a journey into his madness. Now he’s ready to take the rest of you to the mental abyss with a haunted house inspired by the album for Halloween Horror Nights 22. Cooper’s music serves as the mood-setter as you wait in the queue, which will be more reasonable than some of the other houses during the event. You know you’re in for a treat when walking through a larger-than-life version of Alice Cooper’s head to enter the haunted house. You’ll go on a journey with Steven, the iconic character from many of Cooper’s works, as he spirals deeper into insanity. Music spanning Cooper’s 40-year career plays throughout the house and is heightened with strobe effects that won’t let you discern where scareactors burst through walls to startle you in rooms filled with string that you’d swear is cobwebs. From there you’ll go further into his deranged mind with a trip through a hospital where crazed nurses are anything but hospitable as they tie up ex-patients in medical tubing. From a demented room patrolled by guards in sexy leather outfits, you’ll make it through a kitchen that seems normal enough until you the meet the housewife and her terrifying husband.

A quick trip under the bleachers to visit a high school jock and cheerleader reminds you that school’s out forever. After meeting a pole dancer at a mortuary -- oh, that Alice Cooper -- we explore a room with some of the liveliest wallpaper ever seen. All of this leads up to a meeting with Cooper himself in a finale sure to make your hair stand on end. Alice Cooper House Must-See Checklist
