It is one of many meet-and-greet opportunities on the island but it is also one of the most exciting. Guests can rub elbows, pose for photos and get autographs from such characters as Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Rogue and Captain America but it’s the star of the attraction that always has the longest line. Spider-man is by far one of the most popular Marvel superheroes in Islands of Adventure and this special meet-and-greet lets guests finally come face-to-face with the web-slinging hero. If after you meet Spider-man you want more of the superhero you can always take a ride on the thrilling and newly revamped The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. The ride is set in New York as Spider-Man helps to prevent The Sinister Syndicate from taking the Statue of Liberty. Other thrill rides based around these superheroes include The Incredible Hulk roller coaster, Storm Force Acceleration and Doctor Doom’s Fearfall. In addition to meeting Spider-Man at the Meet Spider-Man meet-and-greet attraction, guests can also dine with the hero at the Character Dining breakfast at Islands of Adventure. The Confisco Grille serves up a character breakfast each Thursday through Sunday morning where the entire family can enjoy a delicious breakfast and a special greeting from Spider-Man as well as appearances by The Cat in the Hat, Scooby-Doo and many more.
