When the world's premiere Halloween event kicks off next month at Universal Orlando, you'll be able to experience some of the scariest haunted houses around, based on popular properties from TV, movies and more. But, one of the greatest aspects for this incredible event are the scare zones, which are located between all of the houses and rides. These terrifying areas are filled with creepy hordes of roaming monsters and other demented fiends. Let's take a look at all 5 of this year's scare zones, as well as the new live show for the event.

Zombieland Double Tap

Based on the hit film and its upcoming sequel, you're invited to join in the action as you pass through the United States of Zombieland. Be sure to remember all of the rules, because the infection has spread, and there are bloodthirsty zombies around every corner. The most important rule of course, is to always double tap!

Rob Zombie Hellbilly Deluxe

Rob Zombie's pulse-pounding music and twisted imagery comes to life in this lively scare zone. From out-of-this-world creatures to insane maniacs, you will come face-to-face with unique beings only Rob Zombie could dream up. You know his music, now it's time to live it.

Anarch-cade

The Avenue of the Stars has been transformed into a 1980s style arcade, but it's not all fun and games here. Lurking between every video game machine is another member of the neon slashers, a gang that's on the hunt for you. This is a game you won't want to lose.

Vanity Ball

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but when your flesh is the canvas, you may want to avoid this artist at all costs. The streets of Hollywood are filled with living "works of art" and a blade-wielding virtuoso looking for their next muse. Here, going under the knife takes on a whole new meaning.

Vikings Undead

A horde of undead vikings have returned from their time to ours, and they're wreaking havoc in Central Park with an onslaught of gore. These brutal viking warriors have a bloodlust that, like them, never seems to die.

Academy of Villains: Altered States
The wildly talented Academy of Villains are returning to the event for an all-new performance featuring a killer mix of visionary dance and mind-blowing theatrics. This year's show, Altered States, will focus on the story of Man's true nature, with a dark look at the Gothic streets of anarchy.

There is still one last haunted house to be announced for this year's event, but the nine currently announced houses include Graveyard Games, Jordan Peele’s Us, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Ghostbusters, Stranger Things, Universal Monsters, Nightingales: Blood Pit, Depths of Fear, and Yeti: Terror of the Yukon.

Halloween Horror Nights returns to Universal Studios Florida on select nights from September 6th through November 2nd. This year’s event features 10 totally terrifying haunted houses, 5 pulse-pounding scare zones and outrageous live entertainment. You won't want to miss it!
