A fun day at Walt Disney World starts with a good breakfast. Even if you're in a hurry to get your day started, there are lots of amazing options for a quick and inexpensive breakfast at the parks for your family on the go. From easy-to-carry handheld baked goods to shareable Mickey-shaped masterpieces, here are the top 10 breakfast snacks around Walt Disney World.

Giant Cinnamon Bun at the Magic Kingdom
Gaston's Tavern in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom serves up this massive cinnamon bun that's fit for Gaston himself, because he can appreciate a big serving. It's a classic cinnamon bun that's nice and soft, served warm, and smothered in icing. You're going to need to sit down with a fork and knife to really dig into it. Pro Tip: You can ask for extra icing, and they'll usually add more for no extra charge!

Mickey Waffle from the Magic Kingdom
Everyone knows food tastes better when it's shaped like Mickey Mouse! This item was recently added to the Sleepy Hollow Refreshments window located between Liberty Square and Cinderella Castle. It's a full-size Mickey waffle (not those smaller ones you normally find at the table service restaurants). You can order it plain to enjoy with some maple syrup, or order it covered in fruit, whipped cream and powdered sugar for a more decadent way to start off the day.

Cheshire Cat Tail in Magic Kingdom
The Cheshire Cafe snack window near the Mad Tea Party ride at Magic Kingdom offers the yummy Cheshire Cat Tail all day long, but it's a great choice for a quick breakfast. That's because it's essentially a warm chocolate croissant filled with melted chocolate chips, and drizzled with colorful frosting in fun Cheshire Cat colors. You can also order a hot cup of coffee or tea to complement your sweet treat.

French Pastries in Epcot
The bakery in Epcot's France pavilion, Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, can get very busy during the day, but it's one of the best spots to have a quick and quiet meal in the morning. While most of World Showcase does not open until later, the bakery opens at 9:00 a.m. with the rest of the park. You can enjoy fantastic French pastries like chocolate croissants, tarts and stuffed beignets. If you're looking for something more filling, they also serve handmade quiches and breakfast sandwiches. While you're there, you have to try the macarons, because no matter the time of day, it's always a good time for a macaron.

Norwegian Treats in Epcot
The Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway pavilion of Epcot's World Showcase is a wonderful spot to grab an incredible tasting breakfast snack. It's filled with a variety of Norwegian specialties, (as well as some classic American options for the less adventurous). The guest favorite, School Bread, is a sweet roll filled with custard and topped with coconut. Lefse is a potato bread wrap rolled around cinnamon sugar and butter. Or, you could grab a cream puff pastry or a muffin. Everything here is perfect for picking up on your way to ride Frozen Ever After right when the park opens!

Assorted Muffins in Epcot
Sunshine Seasons inside of The Land pavilion in Epcot's Future World offers a wide variety of breakfast snacks like fruit cups, oatmeal, croissants and cinnamon rolls. You can also find a large selection of different flavored muffins here. They have blueberry, chocolate, lemon poppy seed and more. It's an easy breakfast option you can get without breaking the bank, and it's conveniently located right next door to the popular Soarin' ride.

Pongu Lumpia at Disney's Animal Kingdom
Pandora – The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom not only offers exciting rides like Flight of Passage, but its exotic foods and drinks are not to be missed. The perfect breakfast snack is Pongu Lumpia, available from the tiki bar named Pongu Pongu. This easy-to-carry treat is a crispy spring roll that's stuffed with piping hot sweet cream cheese and pineapple chunks, and sprinkled with sugar. It's so good, you may want to grab two. Order a Night Blossom frozen drink to wash it down for the perfect Pandoran delight.

Colossal Mickey Cinnamon Roll at Animal Kingdom
Creature Comforts inside of Disney's Animal Kingdom is the park's official Starbucks location, but you'll find more than just coffee here. You can grab a danish, scone and more for an easy breakfast, but their most amazing offering is the Colossal Mickey Cinnamon Roll. This gigantic snack lives up the name. It's made up of 3 cinnamon rolls connected together in the shape of Mickey Mouse, and covered in icing. It's flaky like a croissant, but still soft like a cinnamon bun. You may need two people to finish it.

Carrot Cake Cookie from Hollywood Studios
The Trolley Car Cafe on Hollywood Boulevard inside of Disney's Hollywood Studios is a great spot to grab a quick breakfast with favorite Starbucks coffee. In addition to regular Starbucks staples, including breakfast sandwiches, croissants and muffins, the Trolley Car Cafe also offers incredible baked goods like fresh banana nut bread and a carrot cake cookie with cream cheese icing that's unlike anything else at the resort. Despite its name, it's soft like carrot cake, even though it's shaped like a cookie.

Giant Joffrey's Doughnuts
You'll find these enormous delicious assorted doughnuts at Joffrey's Coffee kiosks throughout the Walt Disney World resort. Whether you're visiting one of the parks, Disney Springs, and even some of the hotels, you'll come across a Joffrey's kiosk, serving these delightful doughnuts. The pink frosted is one of their most popular, but you can also find a chocolate frosted, original iced and even specialty ones depending on the season. It's the perfect grab-and-go snack in the morning (or any time of day).
