The Disney Parks have always been more than just a theme park. They are a place to find your inner child, immerse yourself in the magic, and even learn a thing or two! In fact, the Disney Youth Education Series has recently announced a new lineup of visual arts programs. Through these programs, students will be able to learn techniques in photography, animation, drawing and painting from professionals!

Animation Academy: The Secrets of Drawing Disney Characters
In this program your child will discover how basic geometric shapes can combine to create some of their favorite Disney Characters. With the help of a Disney Artist, students in the Animation Academy will use artist quality materials to illustrate their very own Disney Character. The basic techniques and artful tricks taught in this course will give students and their drawings a professional edge in the future.

Cel Animation: Ink & Paint
Step back in time with the art of hand-painting a celluloid sheet like the artists used to in classic Disney films. Imagine that you’re helping to create art for classics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Bambi, and more! Students in this course will glove up and paint a character “cel” while learning about the history and the art of Disney animation.

Photography: A Visual Adventure
Ready to take your photography skills from good to great? In this course students will learn the importance of practice and preparation to capture decisive moments. This type of learning environment encourages participants to share their struggles while taking photos. Through these struggles the students will be provided an opportunity to do some “tailoring” of content by a photography expert!

Story Telling Drawings: A Gesture Drawing Class
This interactive workshop helps students to discover the benefits of practicing gesture drawing. This course is guided by a Disney Artist and includes a live model so students can get a glimpse into the reality of quick sketching from life! Students will gain awareness that it’s not about perfection, but instead about self-expression.

So, no matter the skill level, this collection of courses can be enjoyed by students across different skill levels and ages. To take advantage of one of these exciting new courses, sign your group of 20 or more students up today at!
