June unofficially marks the start of summer and with that comes family vacations to Orlando theme parks. Summer is definitely one of the busiest times of the year to visit Orlando’s many parks but with all of the summer concerts, nighttime events and weekend festivities it’s no wonder why. This June Walt Disney World ®Universal OrlandoSeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will rock, rev and thrill you with old summer favorites and new fun you don’t want to miss!

Walt Disney World ®:
Star Wars Weekends – The force will continue to be strong this June as Star Wars Weekends forges on at Disney’s Hollywood Studios ®. The intergalactic event includes returning celebrity hosts James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein (Voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano respectively from “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”) well as a slew of other stars from the films and animated TV series. Fans will also enjoy parades, live entertainment, limited-edition merchandise releases, rides, dance parties and even learn how to be a Jedi in Jedi Training Academy. Car Masters Weekend - “Cars” fans, get ready to rev your engines this June as Car Masters Weekend speeds into Downtown Disney June 14-16. The 3rd annual event will feature all things “Cars” including a classic car show with more than 150 classic, muscle and exotic cars that’s sure to get your motor running! Guests will also be able to meet "Cars 2" stars Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissile and enjoy special appearances by automotive designer Chip Foose and Disney-Pixar "Cars" filmmaker Jay Ward. Fans will also be able to watch "Cars" & "Cars 2" all weekend long during the movie marathon at AMC Downtown Disney 24 as well as "test drive" Ridemakerz "Cars" models, and enjoy caricatures, live entertainment and more.

Universal Orlando:
Summer Concert Series – Kick off June with a rocking concert at Universal’s annual Summer Concert Series beginning June 1. Every Saturday night through July 6 Universal Orlando will host a different concert by some of the biggest names in the music industry. And after rocking out you can continue the fun with some of Universal’s most exciting rides and attractions! Here is the complete lineup of Universal’s Summer Concert Series:

Transformers: The Ride- 3D – One of the more exciting events happening this June, the battle for Earth will begin June 20 when Transformers: The Ride 3D debuts at Universal Studios. Guests will finally be able to join Optimus Prime and Bumblebee to help protect the All-Spark and defeat the Decepticons. The ride will put you right in the middle of a larger-than-life battle between the Autobots and Decepticons as you try and protect the All-Spark. In doing so you’ll be attacked by the Decepticons for a thrill ride you’ve never experienced before.

SeaWorld Orlando & Busch Gardens Tampa Bay:
Summer Nights – Stay up late this June with SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay as they celebrate summers with Summer Nights! All-month long both parks will offer special nighttime shows, the chance to ride thrilling coasters at night and an incredible finale you don’t want to miss! Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will light up the summer night sky beginning June 8 and SeaWorld Orlando will kick off their nighttime spectacular June 22. Also, check out the new Madagascar Live Show at Busch Gardens opening tomorrow, May 18th.
