The World’s Most Magical Celebration is in full swing at Walt Disney World resort! The 50th Anniversary of the Most Magical Place on Earth is a pretty memorable time to visit, and the latest updates from Disney have us even more excited. Lots of guest-favorite entertainment offerings have returned to Walt Disney World, with more fun coming soon. You’ll want to keep these experiences in mind if you’re heading to the parks this year!

Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage
If you love Beauty and the Beast, you’ll want to make the time to experience this Broadway-style musical version of the Disney animation classic. After returning in August of 2021, Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage took its place once again as an entertainment must-do at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can catch this stage show daily at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM.

Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King
This modified version of Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s popular show has been entertaining guests daily since May 2021. Featuring classic songs from The Lion King, this Broadway-style show is an immersive festival you’ll want to experience again and again! Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King offers hourly performances daily from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

Disney Enchantment
The World’s Most Magical Celebration brought a brand-new fireworks spectacular to the Magic Kingdom. Disney Enchantment is presented by Pandora and features projections on Cinderella Castle and down Main Street U.S.A. With a new soundtrack just for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, you won’t want to miss Disney Enchantment as a memorable end to your Magic Kingdom day.

Disney KiteTails
Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary came with a number of new anniversary offerings, and Disney KiteTails is one of them! This show takes place at the Discovery River Amphitheater and features larger-than-life kites inspired by The Lion King and The Jungle Book. Check out our complete guide to Disney KiteTails here! There are six performances each day: 11:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:15 PM, 3:15 PM, 4:15 PM, and 5:15 PM.

Feathered Friends in Flight!
This interactive show gives guests a behind-the-scenes look at some of Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s feathered friends. Located in Asia at the Anandapur Theater, Feathered Friends in Flight! premiered at the park when it reopened on July 11, 2020. If you want to learn more about the birds of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can catch this show five times a day – 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM.

Festival of Fantasy
Starting on March 9, 2022, everyone’s favorite Magic Kingdom parade returns to Walt Disney World. The larger-than-life and colorful floats feature characters and songs from some of your favorite films including Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled, The Little Mermaid, and more! You’ll want to make the time to fit this parade into your Magic Kingdom day, so keep it in mind if you’re visiting after March 9, 2022.

EPCOT welcomed a new nighttime spectacular just in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, and it’s one that you won’t want to miss. This show is the heart of EPCOT’s major park transformation and it’s one of the largest spectaculars created for a Disney Park. World Showcase Lagoon comes to life with pyrotechnics, choreographed fountains, and giant screens sharing music and stories from some of your favorite films. This show’s beautiful medley of classic Disney songs were reinterpreted by 240 artists from around the globe!

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ longest running attraction made its return in December 2021 after closing for the global pandemic. This show is a must-do for movie lovers and adventure seekers alike, featuring action-packed stunt demonstrations from the popular movie franchise. Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! has five showtimes daily: 12:00 PM, 1:15 PM, 3:15 PM, 4:45 PM, and 6:00 PM.

Wonderful World of Animation
This nighttime show takes you on an exciting journey of over 90 years of Disney and Pixar animation. Returning just in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, Wonderful World of Animation features sequences from some of your favorite films through the years including Coco, Sleeping Beauty, and more. Find this show on the facade of the Chinese Theatre nightly at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Pro Tip: Show up before 8:40 PM to watch right before, too!

Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade - NEW
We’ve been loving the Magic Kingdom Cavalcades, and this new one is no exception! As of February 11, 2022, Magic Kingdom is featuring a brand-new cavalcade experience, Disney Adventure Friend Cavalcade. You can expect to see an array of Disney and Pixar characters including Genie, Jessie, Marie, Mr. Incredible, Judy Hopps, Pocahontas, Panchito, Miguel, and more! Catch this show along the parade route in Magic Kingdom daily at 11:25 AM, 2:25 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:50 PM.

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire - NEW
Join Mickey and his friends as they take the stage near Cinderella Castle for Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire. Starting on February 25, 2022, guests can experience this new take on a classic show featuring Tiana and friends, Rapunzel and Flynn, Olaf, and more. To celebrate the World’s Most Magical Celebration, Mickey and friends will be decked out in their EARidescent outfits and the show will feature an all-new, original song, “Where the Magic Feels Like Home.” Enjoy daily performances in Magic Kingdom at 12:15 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:45 PM, 4:35 PM, and 6:10 PM.

Coming Soon
Although we haven’t received official reopening dates for some of our favorite Walt Disney World entertainment experiences, we do know that they will be making a return sometime in 2022. The legendary nighttime musical, Fantasmic, should be making its way back to Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and a new take on Finding Nemo: The Musical, Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond! will open in Dinoland U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Be sure to check back for opening dates for both of these experiences in the near future.
