New magic is blooming at Walt Disney World this spring. From chocolate workshops to mermaid school, fun runs and more the Orlando theme park is welcoming spring with returning favorite and brand new experiences. Here’s what’s new at Walt Disney World this spring:

Chocolate Workshop
The Ganachery, a specialty chocolate shop at Disney Springs invites chocolate lovers to indulge in the ultimate chocolate experience at the Chocolate Workshop at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Learn how to properly taste chocolate, observe a demonstration on how ganache is made and create your own chocolate truffle pops from an expert Chef Chocolatier from The Ganachery. The workshops will take place on Sundays at 11 a.m. at Disney’s Riviera Resort.

Mermaid School
Returning to Walt Disney World hotels this March is the popular Mermaid School. Guests ages 4 and older can go “under the sea” and experience what it is like to be a mermaid through fun pool activities. And the best part is, they will do it all while wearing a swimmable “tail”.  Participants are given a unique medallion to commemorate their experience. Mermaid School is available at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Riviera Resort.

Crockett’s Craft Corner at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
Budding artists will love Crockett’s Craft Corner at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Guests ages 8 and up will be able to design, paint, and take home their very own rustic wooden sign in this two-hour board-and-brush style workshop. Crockett’s Craft Corner takes place on Wednesday afternoons inside Trails End Restaurant.

Walt Disney World Resort Fun Runs
Stay active during your Walt Disney World vacation with the park’s many different fun run opportunities. Guests can lace up their shoes and go on a 1.2-1.8 mile run at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels including Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, Disney’s Old Key West Resort and Disney’s All Star Resorts.

Ahoy matey! Set sail on an adventure this spring with Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Kids ages 4-12 will join Captain Hook and his crew as they search for hidden treasure, sail around Crescent Lake and enjoy a delicious Pirate feast.
