Raised in Deltona, Florida, just 45 minutes from Orlando, Jena grew up frequenting Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando on a regular basis. Her love for all things Orlando theme parks began on a trip to Walt Disney World in middle school where she camped with a friend at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness. Since then she has made sure to visit all Orlando theme parks on a regular basis, especially during the holidays.

When she’s not writing about Orlando parks and attractions, Jena is busy chasing after her three daughters with her husband, Paul, teaching outdoor fitness bootcamp classes to other mamas, and running marathons, one of which she did through Walt Disney World!
