The sun is shining, and the weather is warmer, which means its time to get in some splashes. If you’ve been waiting as long as we have to hit up some of Central Florida’s water parks than you’ll be excited to know Daytona Lagoon is now taking splashes.

There is much to Daytona Lagoon, but the most exciting thing to do this spring is play in its waterpark.  The lagoon is home to several water rides, a huge wave pool and various activities for the kids. This year the Waterpark has introduced two new attractions - Kraken’s Revenge and Shaka Halfpipe. Kraken’s Revenge stands 50-feet tall and takes riders racing down a high-speed time warp tunnel. Shaka Halfpipe is a two-person inner tube experience that propels riders straight up then backwards over a 50-foot drop!

Daytona Lagoon waterpark’s other rides include the exhilarating enclosed slide Blackbeard’s Revenge, fully enclosed twin slides Adventure Mountain, the Lazy River Pelican Drift, the kid-friendly water oasis Castaway, wave pool Treasure Lagoon and the triple threat slide Poseidon’s Pass.

To make your water park adventure even more relaxing take advantage of Daytona Lagoon’s cabanas. The water park offers three different sizes all with a table and chairs and fan. The medium and large also have lounge chairs and the large, which seats 12 has a couch.

In between splashes check out Daytona Lagoon’s Family Entertainment Center. Home to the Mega Arcade, Grand Prix go-karts, miniature golf, laser tag a rock wall and more, the Entertainment Center has a little adventure for everybody in the family.
