Florida’s biggest party - Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando -  returns February 5 through April 24 with even more beads, bands and beignets than before. Experience popular artists from yesterday and today in the event’s live concerts, a Mardi Gras parade with an intergalactic twist and cuisine from New Orleans and around the world. Here’s what to expect at Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras:

The streets of New Orleans come alive each year with bands bringing soulful beats to partygoers. Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras party will bring their own music in nightly concerts by some of the biggest names in the industry. Legendary singer Diana Ross, superstar Khalid, Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Marshmello, along with 12 other top artists will showcase their talents live on select nights during the party at the Music Plaza stage.
In addition, guests can enjoy brass bands straight from Bourbon Street during daily performances throughout the park.

Here is the lineup for the concerts:
Feb. 5 Sugar Ray
Feb. 12 Diana Ross
Feb. 19 Barenaked Ladies
Feb. 20 Styx
Feb. 26 Jon Pardi
March 5 LL Cool J Featuring DJ Z-trip
March 6 Marshmello
March 12 Lee Brice
March 13 Becky G
March 18 Khalid
March 19 Seal
March 20 Gavin DeGraw
March 25 The Revivalists
March 26 Jimmie Allen
March 27 Jason Derulo

The spectacular parade won’t just be throwing out beads this year. Themed “Planet Mardi Gras,” the procession will include six new floats that combine Mardi Gras with out-of-this-world fun like comets, rockets, martians and more. The outer space-themed floats will join Universal’s traditional lineup of New Orleans-inspired floats including the iconic Jester and nearly 50-foot long King Gator as well as dozens of performers wearing illuminating costumes bringing light to the streets of Universal Orlando in a whole new way.

Foodies will not only enjoy food from New Orleans, specifically Mardi Gras celebrations, but also around the globe. Universal’s award-winning chefs have been working hard to create a menu that takes guests on a culinary journey inspired by various locations around the world. Start in New Orleans with the tasty Crawfish Boil and famous Beignets. Enjoy the tastes of Southeast Asia with Coconut Curry Shrimp Laksa. Head to India for the Vegan Samosa with spicy green chutney. End your worldly culinary travels with Salchipapas from Central America.

Universal doesn’t want you to miss these eats so the park will be offering them at select Universal CityWalk venues including Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen, Pat O’Brien’s and Voodoo Doughnut. Universal Orlando’s hotels are also partying for Mardi Gras and will have their own special menu offerings at each resort, including New Orleans BBQ Shrimp & Dirty Rice at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites & Dockside Inn and Suites; Chicken, Andouille & Shrimp Jambalaya at Universal’s Aventura Hotel; King Cake Pancakes at Loews Royal Pacific Resort and Shrimp Po’ Boys at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
