2018 was the year of new restaurants at Disney Springs. The entertainment district welcomed Wine Bar George, Terralina Crafted Italian, 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck and Chicken Guy!, to name a few. And still more are coming in 2019!
City Works Eatery & Pour House will open in the district in summer of next year. The massive sports bar will take up space in the West Side of Disney Springs. This will be the eighth location for the company. It’s first opened in Minneapolis, Minn. in early March 2016, with six more spots following close behind. Two locations in Illinois are on their way, and of course the one in Disney Springs.
The Orlando location will feature high-definition televisions, including one that will measure 165 inches, along with approximately 80 beers on tap. According the Disney, the beers will include “rare, limited supply, special tappings for local breweries from around the world.” Guests can also enjoy a curated selection of wine to be paired with bar food like burgers and ribs.
In addition to the eatery, the adjacent NBA Experience, an interactive sports complex that’s moving into the space formerly occupied by DisneyQuest, will reportedly still include a restaurant. Stay tuned for more details on that.
Disney Springs was rebranded in 2016, and although there’s plenty of shopping and entertainment here, it’s mostly known for its dining scene. In addition to the above-mentioned restaurants, the area is also home to the Indiana Jones-inspired Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, Bongo’s Cuban Cafe, the new Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy, and dessert destinations like Amorette’s Patisserie. There is quite literally something for everyone.
