The new I-Drive 360 along with many other exciting things are happening in Orlando in 2015.

Happy New Year! Have you stuck to your New Year’s resolutions so far? While you strive to make change in 2015, Orlando is also making changes with some exciting new additions. If one of your resolutions was to enjoy family-friendly vacations more this year don’t miss the following new attractions in Orlando:

Orlando Eye – This spring there will be something new that catches your eye in Orlando’s skyline. It’s the Orlando Eye, a 400-foot-tall observation wheel located at the new I-Drive 360 Complex. The wheel will take riders on an exciting 360-degree trip, offering incredible views of the city below all inside an air-conditioned glass capsule. The Orlando Eye will officially open in Spring 2015. Stay tuned for more details.

Skyplex – Also at I Drive 360 will be the new entertainment complex Skyplex. Skyplex will feature the area’s largest indoor theme park with upscale arcading, simulators, rock climbing, bars, rides, games, shopping, dining and much more.

Skyscraper –Thrill seekers will have a new rollercoaster to enjoy soon. In addition to the games, restaurants and shopping at Skyplex, the area will also boast Skyscraper, the world’s tallest rollercoaster. The four-minute coaster experience is a one-of-a-kind thrill ride that will leave the daring screaming for more. Its observation deck will offer views 535 feet from the ground and will be accessible by the region’s tallest glass elevators! Skyscraper will break ground in 2015 but isn’t expected to open until 2017.

Clyde & Seamore’s Sea Lion High – After a few months off, everybody’s favorite sea lion duo Clyde and Seamore will return to SeaWorld Orlando in their new show Clyde & Seamore’s Sea Lion High. The show features Clyde and Seamore in a race to finish their classes in order to get their diplomas and attend Sea Lion University. As always you can expect tons of laughs, incredible animal behaviors and lots of SeaWorld’s other aquatic animals.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort – Guests to LEGOLAND Florida in the New Year will now have a place to stay after their fun-filled LEGO adventure day. The new LEGOLAND Florida Resort is currently booking guests for its debut in the summer of 2015. Visitors can expect LEGO-themed rooms, LEGO activities and much more. The hotel will be located right outside of the park.

Fun SpotFun Spot America recently opened a new ride, Air Race and in 2015 guests can enjoy this unique one-of-a-kind experience that makes you feel like you are flying in an acrobatic airplane. Air Race will have riders flying round and round and upside down at up to 4G forces! If you missed it in 2014 make sure you experience it in 2015.
