Harry Potter won’t be the only one taking the Wizarding World of Harry Potter guests on a magical adventure. Universal Orlando recently announced visitors will soon fly with Hogwarts gamekeeper Hagrid on a thrilling roller coaster ride.

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure will open on June 13, 2019 in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. For the first time ever, guests will fly with Hagrid and experience some of the wizarding world’s rarest magical creatures.  The concept art teases that guests will hop aboard trains shaped like Hagrid’s famous motorbike and side car and join him on a thrilling ride.

The new attraction is set to be Universal’s “most highly-themed coaster” and were’ sure to come across some of the Wizarding World’s most exciting creatures.

Universal has been teasing the new ride since first announcing it in a blog post back in July 2018; promising the ride will take guests deeper into J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World and the Harry Potter series.

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is replacing the Dragon Challenge, which closed its gates in September 2017. The Bolliger & Mabillard coaster was a two-sided, intertwined and inverted ride originally called ‘Dueling Dragons’.
