Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights kicks off next month! As when it gets closer to opening night, Universal will continue to give us details about what to expect. Today, we’re sharing the latest news on the recently revealed foliage-themed haunted house.

According to the park, Seeds of Extinction takes place moments after a meteor strikes Earth wiping out humans. In our place is a landscape covered in weird plants and monstrous vines. The lush foliage may look pretty but it’s actually quite harmful. Strangling vines, razor-sharp thorns and poisonous pollens are just a few of the deadly plants you’ll come in contact with in this new house.

“Guests will have no place to hide as they find a way to escape the invasive vegetation overtaking the place they once called home,” said Universal in a statement.

Seeds of Extinction is one of 10 haunted houses planned for this year's Halloween Horror Nights. So far we know five of those including: Carnival Graveyard: Rust in Pieces, Slaughter Sinema, Trick 'r Treat, Dead Exposure: Patient Zero, and the highly anticipated Stranger Things house.
