He’s back and he wants his revenge. Classic horror icon Michael Myers will return to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando this September in a new haunted house called Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers.
Following the ‘80’s horror film-theme, the newly announced house is based on the fourth installment in the classic slasher series created by John Carpenter. The maze will transport guests to the suburban town of Haddonfield, Illinois on Halloween night, where Myers has escaped Smith’s Grove Sanitarium. This time he wants revenge on his niece Jamie and he’ll do anything to get it.
Guests will follow Myers as he escapes the mental hospital, encountered his first victims at Penney’s Gas Station and Diner, and terrorizes the town. It’s all set to Alan Howarth’s ominous score. The house will also include some other famous characters from the Halloween series including Myer’s psychiatrist Dr. Loomis.
This is the third time the masked killer has made an appearance at Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, and it’s sure to be his bloodiest visit yet.
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers joins previously announced houses Poltergeist, Seeds of Extinction, Carnival Graveyard: Rust in Pieces, Slaughter Sinema, Trick 'r Treat, Dead Exposure: Patient Zero, and the highly anticipated Stranger Things house. There will be a total of 10 mazes at this year’s event and five horrifying scare zones.
Halloween Horror Nights 2018 kicks off Sept. 14 and will run selected days until Nov. 3.
